Gloomy Gulch is the fifth world of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. The world is covered in fog and is the home of Kloaks and Kackles, the undead Kremlings of the game. There are also Ghost Ropes that act as allies and enemies simultaneously. Gloomy Gulch has haunted woods, an old library, and a beehive. As the world is in the high outskirts of Crocodile Isle there are winds strong enough to blow Diddy and Dixie around. The boss of Gloomy Gulch is Kreepy Krow, the undead version of Krow.
At the end of the game Gloomy Gulch, along with the entire Crocodile Isle, sinks underwater from an explosion that occurred at the Lost World.
In Donkey Kong Land 2, Gloomy Gulch reprises as a world, now as the fourth instead of the fifth. In the game Gloomy Gulch has Klubba's Kiosk located to the left of it on the main world map. Haunted Hall has also been replaced with a normal rollercoaster level entitled Krazy Koaster. Gloomy Gulch no longer has any Kackles, notably Donkey Kong Land 2 itself.
