Luigi's NEW Mansion is a mansion that appears at the end of Luigi's Mansion after King Boo is defeated. It replaces the old mansion haunted by ghosts.

Appearances in video games[edit]

Luigi's Mansion[edit]

This mansion first appears in Luigi's Mansion.

At the end of Luigi's Mansion, Professor E. Gadd was very delighted to have all of the Portrait Ghosts relocated inside of their portraits. He spends the treasure Luigi found in the old mansion and replaces it with a new one. If Luigi collected less money, he would have a smaller mansion. The highest possible rank is an A rank which has a mansion with an L on the top of it. The lowest possible rank is an H rank where Luigi has a tent instead of a mansion. 5,000G is the lowest amount of money that can be collected because the only required jewelry to gain is King Boo's crown. Ranks A through H occur if the following requirements are met:

  • Rank A: Complete the game by having 100,000,001G (150,000,001G in the PAL region) or more.
  • Rank B: Complete the game by having 70,000,001 to 100,000,000G
  • Rank C: Complete the game by having 60,000,001 to 70,000,000G.
  • Rank D: Complete the game by having 50,000,001 to 60,000,000G.
  • Rank E: Complete the game by having 40,000,001 to 50,000,000G.
  • Rank F: Complete the game by having 20,000,001 to 40,000,000G.
  • Rank G: Complete the game by having 5,000,001 to 20,000,000G.
  • Rank H: Complete the game by having 5,000 to 5,000,000G.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!![edit]

The A rank version of the mansion reappears in the background of Luigi Circuit, the first racetrack of Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. Since Luigi Circuit appears as a retro course in Mario Kart DS, the A-rank mansion also makes a cameo again.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon[edit]

The mansion possibly reappears in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. This is because during the introduction, Luigi's house can be seen, and it appears to be the same as the D-ranked mansion from Luigi's Mansion, except that the outer walls have wear on it.
